Nightmare on Elm Street Part Two: Continuation of first film's tale (set 5 years later) has an adolescent boy plagued by fantasies of the demonic Freddy, who is motive on taking over both his mind and body so he might murder all the town’s adolescents. The Last Samurai: Burned out U.S. cavalry officer is employed to go to Japan in 1876 and train the king's cadets to quarrel the last samurai fighters, who protest their ruler's decision to drop their traditional way of life. While the American is taken hostage, he and captor Watanabe create a reciprocal regard as associate combatants, and Voyage comes to value traditional Japanese traditions, particularly their cipher of respect. Fable-scale film flirts with greatness although falls small since it succumbs to Hollywood stereotypes a few times too numerous. There's even a scene uncomfortably comparable to a renowned Voyage minute in Chancy BUSINESS! Still, there is much to adore, containing hefty behaviors amid a lucid sense of time and place. So Evil, My Sister: Medieval B-film thriller with war horse cast has Strasberg and Domergue as siblings playing feline-and-mouse with the cops who are examining the bizarre mortality of Strasberg's spouse. Cast includes Susan Strasberg, Belief Domergue, Sydney Chaplin, Charles Knox Robinson, Steve Mitchell, Kathleen Freeman, and John Howard.(76 minutes, 1972)
The Bliss of Mrs. Blossom: Oddball, primordial comedy with delightful behaviors. Spouse of brassiere producer keeps a lover in their attic for 5 years. The movie weighs down toward the end, although for the most part a pleasure. Cast includes Shirley Mac Laine, Richard Attenborough, James Booth, Freddie Jones, Bob Monkhouse, and John Cleese.
